I broke the fitting that connects the T piece to the Oil Chamber on the block. I ordered the fitting but it seems to be the wrong thread (the thread on the T is OK) I found that the thread in the chamber is M8 x 1.25. and of course the T is different M10 x 1.0. Where can I get a fitting please?? Regards Colin - new JH owner in Austin TX |

Unfortunately I don't have an answer. Have you tried Delta? That is not a stock piece that came with the car as far as I know. So some previous owner made the modification to allow for the oil temp gauge. You could think about tapping the metal piece that the tee screws into. |

Last I knew the fittings were all NPT, National Pipe Thread. |

Thanks Brett I will check that out. Metric bolts fit but it may be just coincidence..... |

1/8"NPT and M10x1.0 are close enough in pitch and diameter that they can be interchanged, but watch for leaks. NPT threads are conical, M threads are not. Both are used for various sensors. -- Joachim Last edited on 06-20-2013 06:15 am by subwoofer |
