Does anybody know how to remove the tank?  Mine has a leak around the base where it inserts into the cylinder.  I assume there is an oring in there, but I can't get the tank off to replace it.  The tank turns and moves up and down about 1/8 inch.  I used a wire tie to hold it together for a while and that works fince but looks like crap.
So how do you remove the tank?
Thanks,
Clif

I know that it has been almost 3 years since this question was posted but since I needed that answer, I will post it here. According to Greg Fletcher's article on rebuilding the master cylinder, the Reservoir is a one way push fit. http://www.jensenhealey.com/members/archive/brakes/master.html Since I have been "gently" trying to persuade it to come out, mine has an almost 1/4" travel. Once it is rebuilt, I will use a circlip to keep the reservoir lip snug against the top of the master cylinder. So if you are searching the forums on how to remove the master cylinder reservoir, DON'T REMOVE IT!! And be sure to read Greg's articles.
