I have just installed Steven DuChene, crank fired ignition kit, on my 1974, 907 Jensen Healey. Superior quality machined brackets, east to follow instructions. No more distributor leaks. From average running to spot on timing, and super acceleration. This should be a upgrade to all Jensen Healeys. Navy Las Cruces NM

Merry Christmas to all and Happy New Year! I have all the parts ready to install except the megajolt unit. Where did you get it? I seem to have trouble with the megajolt web site and how to contact those people. How much was it? Did you program it? I am unable to accomplish and computer programming and Steve said he would do it for me when I get the megajolt..... Frank Schwartz

I have an updated conversion article (version 4.01) as a 21 page PDF file . This article includes cost estimates for the various pieces necessary to do the conversion, wiring diagrams, parts lists, and a lot of background information on the why's and where-to-fore's behind the conversion.

Frank Schwartz wrote: Merry Christmas to all and Happy New Year!Yes, I programmed Jim's Megajolt ECU for him and then sent it back to him. I believe he just purchased it through the Autosport Labs web site. BTW, the new product name is the Megajolt/E (E for EDIS) since they are supposed to be coming out with a more complex follow-on product that will have a slightly different functionality and name. The Megajolt/E is still priced at $161.95 + $6.95 for the programming cable.

Very simple. Go to: http://www.autosportlabs.com/megajolte-p-41.html then scroll down to the bottom third of the page, just past the pictures of the "System Diagram" and "Tuning Software" where you will see some pull down menus to make choices about the options you want to order. The three default choices are "No Hard Rev Limit needed", "Internal 2.5 Bar Manifold Pressure (MAP) Sensor", and "Include Cable (+6.95)". Leave those at the default and then just below that and over on the right there will be a small button that says "Add to Cart". Click that which will take you to the contents of your current shopping cart. You should end up with a total of $168.90 and another button on the right side that says "Checkout". Click that and then follow the directions for "I am a new customer" with a continue button. Fill out all of the stuff on the next page and then again click "Continue" which in theory should take you to the next page where you enter your payment information.

Yes, The article in the JHPS bulletin is a reprint of my 21 page article. I believe Greg split it up into two parts since it was so long. -- Steve

Hi Steve, I'm still lurking. I have your PDF version 3.96. could I get the 4.01 update? My last post was listed as 1-1-13 but it was probably back in March of 2012. Thanks again, John
