I have the JH THIIIS close to at least starting. After removing the old MSD which wasnt even connected to anything, I tried to bring the ignition back to factory. The issue now is that I have everything except the ballast figured out. I have one side of the ballast connected to the coil, but can't figure out the other side (left side if youre looking at it from the front and in the US). The wiring diagram says the wire goes into the 5-way connector, but I cant seem to figure out where or which 5way is which..HELp!! The wire in question has the blue band around the coupler Also, can anyone identify the white and black wire which is horizontal to the others here? It is white with a black stripe. That connects to the white wire that originates at the tachometer and makes the tach function. Kurt

Attached is a partial of the Elec Print. WY is White Yellow shown on the left side of the Ballast Resistor, WS on the right side of the Ballast Resistor is White Slate and runs to an engine bay plug socket, Panel plug socket and on to the Tachometer. Hope this helps John Attachment: Elec Print Partial.JPG (Downloaded 79 times)

There are severaldifferent wiring diagrams for the various wiring harnesses used in the JH and GT. My diagram and in fact, my car has a white wire where John's diagram shows white with slate. His diagram may also explain that white with black in your car. Kurt JH 13148
