I recently had my gas tank relined by Gas Tank Renu. I did not have a leakage problem, but had a gas filter fouling problem because of rust, shellac, etc, in the tank. The renewal process worked great for me. You be the judge. Check it out on my web site. John's Jensen Healey Web Page |

I am a supporter of the Gas Tank Renew system also. I had my tank done and am very happy with the results. They put an epoxy coat inside & out & give a lifetime guarantee. It looks good too! |

I'd love to get this renewal done to the very rusty fuel tank in 12579. Are these companies just on the East Coast? Does anyone know of such a company in the Great Wet Northwest? Dave |

Look at their webside http://www.gastankrenu.com. They list California locations, or you can actually box it up and send it to their headquarters for renewal. If you call them they will tell you how to prepare the tank for shipment. John. |

Thanks John, I checked out the web site. I'd like to take it down to the dealer in California, which gives me a good excuse to go visit my buddies I left behind when I moved to Oregon. ;^) I'm just afraid that a dealer so far away from the home base won't give the same quality service. Dave |

Dave, if you are concerned about the California Gas Tank Renu dealer, consider sending the unit to headquarters for refurbishing. However, I had mine done in Delaware, a long way from the midwest headquarters, and the quality was fine. Also, they have a thorough multi-step process they follow and back it up with a nationwide guarantee. John. |
