I am trying to rebuild my carbs, and the emulsion tubes and main jets are stuck in the carb body. I have soaked them in carb cleaner for a while without any luck. Any ideas? Thanks, Jim McDonald

Hi Jim, Try a 50/50 mix of auto tranny fluid mixed with acetone. It's called "weasel piss". Soak up to 4 days. This stuff really works! Tap the screwdriver with a hammer while trying to remove. Not too hard. Apply cold to the brass using a can of computer duster, upside down. Try again. Kurt

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll give them a try. Actually the screws came off, it's just the tubes that are stuck, so I don't really have much to pull on.

In that case, an EZ-out will come in handy.
