how do I check for correct float level in a stromberg?

Carbs have to be off the car, float bowls off. carbs verticle with floats hanging down. the tab should lightly touch the needle. distance between body and float including gasket, bend the float arm to achieve correct dimension. 11/16 or 17.mm Brett
