Thinking back many years to my first J-H that had issues with overheating in our hot Midwest summers so I'm thinking about replacing the original one on my new-to-me '74 MKII before it's get nasty hot here in SW Missouri. I found this one on Amazon for only $180. Has anyone installed one of these? Looks like a Champion for less money. https://www.amazon.com/Aluminum-Radiator-1972-1975-Jensen-Healey/dp/B09SP6NG4D/ref=sr_1_1?crid=IKK7IV42EQ1Q&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.0Zie8LcXYMSRxqCwTPbT33dCpyDrXNcVv0lfLCeSpEYAEJ2WeGmCUr5FA_OuE4TYLysTDQIuvqDD3_4-hLEclkCarDA2HROwOJM4pbHyQ0Ehxa71MEJaJ3ftKSFyw7KVXOxyIs4C_miQp8KoCwmS1LEWmltZ1xuO3dkUMAZ6xfaqApX_emIasPkOkE9guzzHPcKWTTRHI4rTNe6I4d-gTVp8HGmnve2sB2sDNCBIOkY.OgxvKIYRbXzplaaBjMKAglV-TnxPHECn3LHEx4YH9Y8&dib_tag=se&keywords=jensen-healey+radiator&qid=1779111356&sprefix=jensen-healey+radiator%2Caps%2C145&sr=8-1 Last edited on 05-18-2026 01:36 pm by ShellKnobCat |

Your first J/H likely still had it's original two row radiator, switching to a three row radiator will solve your overheating problem. When I got my J/H in '93 it still had the two row and it overheated on hot days and in stop and go traffic. I switched to a three row and have had no overheating problems since. I got got mine (brass) from Delta around '94 or '95 I don't recall what it cost. For $180 what have you got to lose. |

Just ordered one, it looks like and has the same dimensions as the Champion radiator and is TIG welded. I'll let everyone know how it fits and performs. |
