I was recently reading through the post and found that somebody had installed the lighter flywheel from a Lotus Elite. For some reason I can no longer find that post. I can't even do a search and find flywheel, Lotus or elite. Maybe the search engine is down. So what were the general impressions of this substitution? How much lighter is it? Is it worth the hassel to find one? Is it a direct replacement or are there some modifications that will need to be done? I am pretty sure I will need to replace mine and have decided not to go with the aluminum unit, but the idea of an upgrade does appeal to me. Thanks, Clif |
