Hello JH Members,

I’m hoping someone with a Charcoal Canister can comment and post pictures of the location and mounting of the Charcoal Canister in the engine compartment.

My vehicle has the canister but it’s not secured, and I don’t see any mounting points.

It mounts to the front battery clamping bracket, there should be, or once was a circular clamp welded onto to it, that the cannister was attached to.

Hi Brett,

Thank you for that detail. It appears I’m missing the part and battery clamping bracket as well which explains it being loose.
