Hi, I have changed my clutch and have now assembled the gearbox to the engine. My concern is with regard to the clutch release arm. Without the tension from the cable I am able to move the arm out from the pivot on which it is attached with the clip. The clip looks ok , and it worked fine last summer. But my concern is ,Will it come loose when i am driving the car ? Is the clip supposed to hold the arm firm to the pivot or is it held in place by the forces from the cable , clutch cover plate etc. I would hate to put the engine back in the car just to experience that I have to tak it out again. Any experience is welcome kim |
