So the rest of you do not have to search. http://www.britishv8.org/Other/ErnieVicencio.htm

Nice car and pictures. Some different ideas there.

Yes, I saw that on the BCF. Very nice. Supposedly part of the design of the JH was that Donald Healey wanted to leave room to put a V8 in at some point.

I read through that and mentally filed it under the category of "if Ms. Jenavieve's 907 bites the dust, it might be an alternative to a replacement". It just seems like the Rover V8 would be an "almost authentic" swap.

The RV8 has more going for now, than any time in it's past. Three mfgr's of aftermarket heads,new/improved oem blocks from Cosworth. This engine has a long history of racing developement, from around the world. Onward, roverman.

I had a free one of these V8's offered to me, with a lightened flywheel, heads already rebuilt, etc. I was going to put it in the race car, but then found out that the car would have virtually no class that it would be eligible for, unless I could prove that V8 Jensen Healeys were raced in the past.

I think that would leave slaloms and track days or NASA ? Of course a TR8 would be legal. I have a Huffaker TR8/ GT 1 car. Cheers, Art.
