What's the best way to install the cam cover washers from the club store? I don't want to damage the rubber part by tightening the bolt head down onto it so I'm thinking of using standard washers over them. I am also concerned that the rubber won't seal to the cam cover. Should I use a rubber washer under it? Maybe a dab of Hylomar would be best. Kurt

Kurt, I have used these washers both from the store and McMaster-Carr, what works for me is having the washer go against the valve cover then a plain washer, no issue's, plus they can be reused up to a point. Brett

Thanks Brett, I'm concerned that the surface of the re-painted (wrinkle finish) valve cover isn't smooth enough for the small rubber surface of the washers. I'm just going to use the Seloc washers since I never had a problem with them before. Kurt
