   | I'm cleaning up a 5 speed differential for installation in my car and contacted Redline for the proper gear oil. The guy that got back to me, Dave, said he used to own a '72 JH and recommended their 75W90 gear oil. He also recommended the MT-90 for the transmission. The MTL is too thin, like a 5W30 motor oil. Inquiring minds... Kurt

   | Redline's stuff is thin compared to the old stinky stuff, yeah. But it seems to work. That's what I run in my rotary Spitfire's RX7 limited slip diff, no complaints.
