We live in Germany and I have some difficulties in relation to several specifications and needed fluids.
I would like to make several Troubleshootings Prior starting the Project and there begins possible mistakes which I would like to prevent, under and with your experts help.
Which engine oil do you use. I think it should be 20W50, but can you recommend a brand/make? Do I will need any additives.
Which gearbox oil do you use? Which spec? I have the 4 Speed gearbox installed. Please advise also suitable make.
Further, I would like to change the oil from the diff. Which one you recomend? Any spec and make/brand?
I have plenty gallons of D.O.T. 4 brake fluid, can I use it for the Healey or should I use D.O.T 3 brake fluid?
Last but not least, We just are able to use the 98 octane gasoline. Do I Need to use any additive in the tank for the fuel supply?
Many Thanks in advance,
Eurico

Welcome to the message board Eurico.
The engine oil should be 20w50 with the zinc/ phosphorus, ZDDP for older engines. I use Valvoline VR1 but don't know if it's available in Europe. 4 stroke motorcycle oil will also work.
The 4 speed gearbox also uses the 20w50 engine oil or synthetic Redline brand MTL. Other brands will work fine.
The diff uses 75w90 hypoid gear oil. Synthetic is ok.
I have had good luck with Dot 4 synthetic brake fluid.
The pent roof 4 valve head is not sensitive to octane. You should not need any fuel additive. This engine can easily run 11:1 compression on pump gas.
Cheers, Kurt

In addition to our "moderator's" recommendations, I woujld also add (4 speed only) Dow CVorning "M" Gear guard to the transmission and differential. 10% is what's called for which is about 5-6 ounces for the Tm. and 2-3 for the diff.

Thanks a lot.
Do you use also Valvoline VR1 engine oil?
I was today at our local dealer for us Parts where I usually by the parts for my Chevy.
And they like me never had heared about 20w50 engine oil in the TM.

I use whatever high grade is available; sorry, can't help you much with that but I don't think it will greatly affect the engine

Thanks, I have no doubt that it will affect the engine.
I just wanted to be sure in regards to the TM. And the V1 is hard to get where I live. How ever, it will work. 😃
