Hi gang That siphon valve in the fuel line Is it in the Tee line that runs back to pump And is it a proper valve ie spring or ball bearing or a restrictor orifice? Cheers Stu |

It is NOT in the "T" itself but in the fuel line that runs back to the top of the tank where the 2 other lines are located on the pressure relief valve. Again, it is about the size of a 22 caliber bullet and it does have a ball and spring in side for one-way flow. It is located just before the line goes into the plastic "T" |

Hi Bruce Yes I found it in the fuel hose, like a plastic torpedo shape, inlet and bigger outlet orifice with a bronze ball inside I assume flow wise that direction of flow from the tee back to the return tank line, does not allow flow back that way, else it would rob flow from Carbies?? And before you ask, when I cut it out with a pen knife, it flew across the garage, therefore I wasn't sure which way it was sitting in the hose !!!! I think I have it all sorted. But I have to say, that old fuel hose with the orange stripe on it is good stuff, it was still intact internally !!! Stu |
