I would like to fit a towing eye at the front of my JH5. Does anyone know of any ready-made solutions? Or perhaps a design template? Gary

I believe this has been discussed before but I think it was discussed on the old board. So it has been quite a while. And I don't have the address for the old board. Thought I did but can't find it. If I remembered, there wasn't any ready made solution. A standard tow bar did not work because of the JH lond nose and low ride height. The JH was to be towed behind some kind of RV. Unknown if they ever got something to work. Maybe with the number of Miatas out there someone has come up with something. So a quick search came up this link that might give you some ideas. http://themorans.org/themorans/timstuff/miata/towbar/towbar.htm Art

Thanks for the response Art. I was actually looking for just a simple towing eye, like a race car. Something I could attach a tow strap to in a pinch. Gary

The front cross member has a plate attached with a whole in it on the bottom side that should do the trick, unless your running a front spoiler. Brett
