Just received my service manual on CD and have noticed pedal extensions were offered as an accessory in days gone, wondering if any one knows of a source for NOS or newly manufactured pedal extensions. I'm 5'9" and wife is way smaller and driving with steering wheel in chest to enable clutch control is very difficult. Last edited on 03-04-2010 04:09 am by terryhowarth |

What about a pair of platform shoes, circa 1973!

I've heard of them, never seen them. If anyone has ever seen them I'd love to see photos.

I have had two or three sets of these. First two came from NZ, If I remember correctly. They are definitely a stock item and I have a set in my daughter's JH as she is short...and had a set in my son's JH also, but when he sold it to buy the GT, we removed them and have them on hand. I have the dimensions and drawings as well and made (the very hard way with hammer and vise) the parts and only need to clamp them and weld them up..and then drill mounting holes...probably should drill the holes first. I think you could get a set from Rejen or most likely Appleyards, both in the UK
