Hello folks, I'm the proud owner of a 74 MKII that I have owned for 40+ years. It has 36,000 original miles and is completely stock other than an aluminum radiator. I want to find a good machanic for her and am hoping someone has had a good experience in the Seattle, Washington area that they can share. On this website, Performance Motors in Lynnwood WA is listed as a repair shop that is highly rated. Can anyone tell me about their experience at this shop or does anyone have any recommendations for other mechanics in my area? Any insight provided would be greatly appreciated. |

Bearry, Who's been working on your car for the last 40 years? It sounds like you've found your shop in Performance Motors. It's highly rated on this website so you know they work on Jensen-Healeys. Even if you do find a Brit shop closer it's most likely all makes which means their experience with J/H is probably limited and that's assuming they work on J/Hs at all, I know the Brit shop closest to me doesn't. |

I contacted Performance Motors and they sent this reply: We are no longer servicing vintage vehicles after the previous owner sold the business and took all of the knowledge with him. We are referring people to RW Auto Classics in the Monroe/Snohomish area. On their website, RW Auto Classics lists Jensen Healey as one of the cars they service, so I'm going to give them a shout. |
