It's not too early to put your name on the 2014 Jensen East event mailing list to get automatically notified whenever more information is published on the website about the event. You can get on that list by going to the dedicated event page at http://jenseneast.org/2014---monroe-wi.html and filling in your name and email address at the bottom of that page. It doesn't obligate you to anything, but makes sure you are among the first to know things as they are published.

Mark your calendar now for May 28 - 31, 2014 in Monroe, WI

Well, since I griped about the previous years being out east, I will definitely be there since it's only a couple of hours from me. Ron, PM me as things get closer if there's anything I can do to help.

There are supposed to be six Jensens coming from blighty for a nationwide tour, which will include the East Nationals.

At the West Nationals there was some talk of attempting a unified National event. Of course, getting west coast JH owners together is like herding cats. ;-}

I was contacted by Barry Sanderson last week about co-odinating the Western 2014 meet with the Eastern and forwarded his note to Ron Mau who is hosting next year and working with the Brits. (& I don't think it's six cars - more like two or three)

As I told Barry though, it may be a bit late in the game for this. They are on a tight schedule as they need to have their cars shipped back to Europe for another event and have to allow several weeks for that. We had to agree with them on a date for our Eastern event last October.

Ron is the guy who has all the details on this and so I referred Barry directly to him.

The larger question of East/West co-ordination is one however that should be further explored. We try to plan our schedule several years in advance in the East and already have tentative plans and hosts identified for both 2015 & 2016. (I am actually on the schedule to host the 2016 event.)

There has also been talk of several of us from the East making a pilgramage to the Western event in 2015, but as yet it is just talk.

Let's keep talking about this.

Oh, I'll be there. As mentioned, it's only a couple of hours away for me. Ms. Jenavieve's disassembly just started last weekend, and it helps to have a goal in mind... I have 19 weeks to get her back together and ready for the meet. Nothing like a little pressure.

No schedule per se as of yet on the site, just more of an overview than anything. I assume it's coming soon.

Going by past events and what is listed on the site the Awards banquet would probably be Saturday Night, car show Saturday during the afternoon, BBQ- Jarts Friday night, Barn quilt poker run Friday day, Mississippi river museum Thursday day, as for Funkana typically Sat AM. true the schedulers have not spelled it out but I would be surprised if this was not the layout. hope this helps.

Brett

Direct link to that page and registration form is here: http://jenseneast.org/2014---monroe-wi.html

Just sent registration to Ron and made our motel reservations. We will definitely be there! (especially since it's only a couple of hours from home)

Just a heads Up, I was talking with Ron Mau yesterday (He's putting on the show) and the block of rooms that are being held in the hotel for this event will be release this coming Monday April 28th. and there still are rooms available as of now.

So if you have not yet done it I would suggest making reservation ASAP. even if you change your mind and back out the hotel only requires 24hr notice to cancel.

Brett
