Just a suggestion to ALL event planners. For me, as a clueless Jensen owner looking at this for the first time, it would be very, very helpful to see a one paragraph run down of the event. Please don't make me hunt for it, just tell me the stuff. I did download your schedule of events PDF, it is extremely informative, but maybe too much info to start with. Better to try a teaser than slam someone with too much information.

I'd like to know–

1. Full name of the event
2. Date of event
3. Location of the event, perhaps mention of hotel
4. Why I should go
5. Maybe a couple of highlights to get me interested

Hey All,

I've got the TR8 nicely sorted and all packed now. Next year I'll actually bring a JH. >;)

I'm heading out from Phoenix in an hour or so, the plan is to get across the desert tonight and to the L.A. area by morning. If there are any caravans heading up from San Diego or LA please give me a call to see if we can meet up. Otherwise, if you see a silver TR8, it's me. I'll be watching for Jensens the whole way!

I'll have my phone with me. 480-612-5671. It also recieves email.

Jody

Hey Jody, are you at the Nationals?

How many JH's are there?

I'll be up in the morning. Friday traffic turns a 2.5 hr drive into an all night affair.

I blew my water pump and wound up limping home.

Right now I'm sulking on the couch.

Ahh, the joys of British motoring. Always an adventure.

Sorry to hear it Jody, I was looking forward to meeting you.

You could always host the Nationals and then we would have to come to you!

I'll let you know how it goes,

Kurt

The West Coast Nationals were a great success! We had 6 Jensen Healeys, 2 Austin Healeys (bodies by Jensen) and about 10 Interceptors.

There were also guest appearances by a Jaguar E-Type series 1, Mercedes Gullwing, MGA, MGB, Ferrari 308, and a show condition Dodge Charger R/T with the mighty 426 Hemi. Bob Adams even brought his 2003 Oldsmobile and was voted best Olds in show!

It was great to finally meet John English and Mitch DeShields From our very own Message Board.

Rob broke the record for showing up at the most National events without his Jensen Healey which is locked up in an undisclosed dark location.

David and Jenny Miller brought their beautiful Interceptor and left their three Healeys in the garage.

It was a gathering of the true Jensen Faithful! Fun was had by all.

Next year the West Coast Nationals will be held in LA sometime in June. See you there!
