I used to keep mine there.
Then one fine day while driving along with a friend through the Point Reyes National Seashore a cloud rose up in the passenger compartment. I quickly pulled over and, thinking the wiring was on fire, reached for the fire extinguisher.
Then I saw the white powder on the back of the passenger seat. We laughed.
It now lives in the glove box.
