well, i'm glad i found out about the weight etc. the thing already has the hiccups and the extra pull wouldn't help. speaking of the hiccups, to take the distributor loose to adjust timing, how do you get in there? i think the thing needs some adjustment...it's doggy, and backfires when cold, also the idle starts out spattery and as the engine warms up, it climbs to near 1500 rpm...any ideas? allen
