Hello! I am new to the board and a proud new owner of a Jensen Healey 74 1/2. In buying the car the previous owner stated that the trans was "occasionally" slipping out of 1st gear and would need to be looked at. I drove it about 150 miles yesterday getting it home and couldnt get it to stay in 1st gear more than 50% of the time. This seems like it would be the syncro, no? The pedal is almost on the floor now and it will probably need a new clutch so my question is where can I find the parts for this repair and do any local members know of a reputable shop that can do JH trans work?
