It has been a good while since I last posted here in the message board. To date 11602 is now pushing almost 115,000 on the Auto Meter GPS odometer which got swapped in at 100K. I got fed up with the Weber's and have since installed a set of PHH44 Mikuni's now with 14K miles on them, These past two years have seen the advantage in converting my tired RAMAIR foam filter that was specked for an ESPRIT into a cold air intake which has quieted things down greatly from the induction racket. As of last weekend the exhaust saw the addition of an HP-2 under the seat area of the unibody and a FLOW-FX at the back under the boot. Grandly quiet and yet super flow efficient as the throttle roll-on seems to be just as good as it was with a 44 series before hand with a crappy Chinese SST glass pack under the seat which got really hot.
Big plans for the motor becoming a 2.4L track weapon. It is almost a reality as the cam shaft are the last piece of the puzzle in the que. Then it will be some very key machine work I will need for 10 pinning the block and getting the big valves sorted in the head.
