I didn’t really spend much time on it. I was well aware of the issues since I had a 1974 TR6 with the same problem. My principal concern was keeping with my philosophy of restoration of the vehicle. The previous owner pursued “just keep it running” without regards to preservation.
I have posted questions on another forum, mainly because the traffic is pretty light on this one. Replies take a bit too long here, the other forum gives me a reply in 24 hours, but expertise is lacking on Zeniths, emissions and other North American market issues.
Anyway, I have not lacked for help when I have needed it, thanks to you and others.
It has been a great journey to date, and I’m almost to the happy motoring stage.
