 Vance: you're working on "problems" that have been solved "ages" ago. The logic box with its 12 pins is(was) the problem long ago. Pins #12 & #11 should be wired together to bypass the problem with the car not starting.
May I be so bold as to suggest you post whatever is a problem before you spend a lot of time fiddling/fussing with whatever on these cars.
