Greetings Jensen Enthusiasts -
Plans are coming together for next summer's gathering. The event will be in
Springfield, Illinois from June 7th to 10th, 2006.
We will be staying at the Ramada Limited (http://www.springfieldramada.com) for
$72.00 per night including a breakfast buffet and pool. Please contact the
Ramada direct and mention Jensen Car Group when making your reservations
(217-523-4000).
We are sending this by email to everyone whose email address we have and via
regular mail to everyone else. If you receive this via regular mail and

Wednesday -
Horseshoe/Ponyshoe Night -An introduction to a local specialty found only in
the Springfield area.
Thursday –
Several tours to take at your leisure
Route 66 sites
Downtown Lincoln sites - Museum, Lincoln's
Neighborhood, Law Office, etc.
Dana-Thomas House - a Frank Lloyd Wright home
State buildings
Shopping, crafts, antiques
Afternoon Car Show at the concert at the Old Capital
Friday –
Land of Lincoln Rally/Tour
Visit various Lincoln sites outside of the downtown area.
Barbeque/Fish Fry
Saturday –
Mr. and Mrs. Lincoln Takes a Buggy Ride Funkhana
Banquet
Auction
The web site and registration form are in the design stages - we will let
you know when it's up. The registration fee should be similar to previous
years.
