The bolt holding the tube in must be put in loosely, less than finger-tight at first. Then the hollow allen bolt can be torqued down onto the nylon olive seal, with a strong recommendation to grease the threads first, as well as the inside where the tube comes into contact.
If you were to torque the lower bolt down first, the tube will almost surely be canted/angled so the hollow allen bolt will not be able to be tightened enough to ensure no air leaking past the nylon olive, thus giving oil starvation(ask me how i & others know!).
keep us posted, Bruce

No offense taken. It is a good tip, something of which I was unaware.
A minor setback today, I broke a ring while installing my pistons. <grr>
It broke when I was turning the key on my piston ring compressor to compress the rings. I can only think that a ring tip was standing proud of the land when I started to tighten the compressor. Pop! "Uh-oh. I've got a bad feeling about this..."
My oil pickup disintegrated - the screen mesh separated from the pickup. Its always something. I cleaned it up and used some JB weld on it. I will know in 24 hours if my repair will work.
Will be getting another set of rings from Delta. <Mumble>
