Thanks for the effort. My other cars are done. The only thing I can think of is that it may have been in the box of parts I got with the car, since it was partially disassembled by the PO. I'm satisfied that it hasn't got a place on the car so I'll just leave it. Back to putting actual JH parts on the car.
