The booster is probably good, I was just thinking it would be a good idea to replace all the 50 year old rubber bits in at least the braking system. Some of the brake lines are looking corroded so will replace them too. Thank you for the link to ABS brakes, I'll be contacting them.

The plan is definitely for piecemeal restoration, fix things as they break and slowly go through the car cleaning/fixing/replacing as needed. By the time most things have been gone over I should be familiar enough with it that stripping it for a full respray won't be so daunting.
