The "cheap" version is the TR6 master cylinder which does not sit at the same cant as on the booster for the TR6. You will need to "CONSTANTLY" monitor the brake fluid as if it is not full, there is likely air getting in the front hole.
I used to get them brass sleeved in California, but they retired and used Apple Hydraulics for the last 3.
