Sorry if I wasn't clear, but I need to get the speedo cable pinion gear out of the tailshaft of the 4-speed Chrysler transmission. The parts book shows a "bearing", part #93962. I have the cover (which receives the cable) off, and it has two tangs on the inside, which key into slots in the bearing. I've tugged on the pinion gear shaft, but nothing is moving. I wonder if the bearing is externally threaded, or just enjoying 43 years of being in place? Last edited on 09-25-2017 03:39 pm by allstateguy
