Yes I found it in the fuel hose, like a plastic torpedo shape,
inlet and bigger outlet orifice with a bronze ball inside
I assume flow wise that direction of flow from the tee back to the return tank line, does not allow flow back that way, else it would rob flow from Carbies??
And before you ask, when I cut it out with a pen knife, it flew across the garage, therefore I wasn't sure which way it was sitting in the hose !!!!
I think I have it all sorted.
But I have to say, that old fuel hose with the orange stripe on it is good stuff, it was still intact internally !!!
