No problem Jeff....the intelligence (and stupidity) of people in large groups cannot be underestimated! If you are considering a swap to the 235/5 or trying to rebuild your own, I do applaud your decision to keep the car 'correct'. However, if you want something more robust, reliable and cost effective, the 4sp is pretty damn good (when rebuilt properly), followed closely by the Toyota W58 conversion. Both of which use Borg-Warner style synchros. The 235/5 is great on paper, however, the Porsche style synchros (and parts that are NLA) are it's downfall. Ron Earp will be giving us a first-hand report of how well his 235/5 does in competition. Personally I'm skeptical, but Ron will set the record straight!
