Just a wild opinion, was the filter an exact replacement for the previous filter? The blockage seems to be at the filter. Some filters have a check valve to prevent leakback. If the remote filter was hooked up backwards the check valve would go into service and stop the flow. Double check all of the inlets and outlets to be sure things are flowing in the right direction. I have been wrong before. Dan
