1140 / 10313 - early Mk.1 with the single door lock. It's been a race car for 20+ years. Engine's a replacement Lotus part, as far as I can tell, it's just got a date code ( BD9077810 ), and no serial at all!
It's been unused for about 10 years, and runs on twin 45 dellortos, which are rather loud due to the complete lack of air filters! According to Richard Calver, it was originally yellow, but it's currently silver.
This will be a long term rebuild project, keeping it on the road as much as possible. First thing I need to know is the size of the 6 bolts that hold the soft top on!
